The bankruptcy of football clubs has long been commonplace in football, especially in East Europe. Every year, professional football clubs, even at the level of the Premier League, simply die, leaving behind only an endless amount of debt and a debilitating bankruptcy procedure.
Realizing the global scale of this problem, FIFA, established the FIFA Fund in the summer of 2020, which will pay compensation in favor of football players whose clubs have gone bankrupt or stopped participating in professional competitions and have lost the status of football subjects.
Our task is preparing the set of necessary documents and sending it to the FIFA Foundation together with the required explanations, depending on the individual characteristics of your particular case.
At the same time, you should take into account that the FIFA Foundation considers applications for a long time (for example, applications submitted in June 2020 were considered only in May 2021), so it is worth being patient.
Nevertheless, during the short period that the FIFA Foundation began to exist, our team has already managed to receive a number of positive decisions that allowed the players of long-bankrupt clubs to at least partially cover the debts they left.
